Intag Warranty

Every laptop sold by Intag comes with a warranty. Claims are handled at our in-house repair lab in Saddar, Rawalpindi — not couriered abroad, not sent back to the manufacturer for you to chase.

What "Intag Warranty" means

Our laptops carry a residual international warranty from the original manufacturer — typically 2 months to 1 year, varying per unit. The exact duration is confirmed in writing on your invoice at the point of sale.

What Intag adds: you don't have to ship the laptop to a foreign service centre. You bring it to our Saddar lab and we handle the claim end-to-end.

What's covered

In general — hardware faults that develop during normal use within the warranty period. Things like motherboard issues, RAM or SSD failure, fan failure, port issues, or screen-controller faults.

Diagnosis and labour at our in-house lab are not charged for covered claims.

What's NOT covered

The usual exclusions every honest laptop seller publishes:

  • Wear-and-tear items — batteries, chargers, hinges, touchscreens. These degrade with normal use and are not under warranty.
  • Physical damage — drops, liquid spills, screen cracks, dust damage.
  • Power-related damage — voltage spikes, surges, inadequate UPS.
  • Software issues — driver problems, Windows activation, malware. We'll help debug these as a courtesy but they're not warranty claims.
  • User modifications — if the laptop has been opened or modified by a third-party technician, or if BIOS/firmware has been altered, the warranty is void.
  • Overheating from blocked airflow — laptops on cushions, beds, or carpets choke their vents. Use on a hard surface.

How a claim works

  1. WhatsApp us at +92 303 3333627 with the model, your invoice/order ID, and a description of what's happening (a short video is ideal).
  2. We confirm warranty status — covered, partially covered, or out of warranty.
  3. Get the unit to the Saddar lab — walk in if you can, or courier it (we'll share the address and packing instructions). The buyer pays the inbound courier; we cover the return for covered claims.
  4. Inspection takes 1–3 working days.
  5. Repair or part replacement happens in the lab. Lead time depends on parts availability — typically 2–6 weeks, occasionally longer for specific parts.
  6. Return. Repaired unit is couriered back to you (or you pick it up in store).

Out-of-warranty repairs

Even if your unit is past its warranty, our lab handles paid repairs — motherboard work, screen replacement, keyboard replacement, hinge repair, battery replacement, SSD upgrades. WhatsApp us with the model and the issue; we'll quote you before you commit.

What to keep for a smooth claim

  • Your invoice (digital copy is fine).
  • Original box and accessories, ideally.
  • The pre-dispatch video we sent you on WhatsApp.

Back up your data first

Before handing the laptop over for warranty work, back up your data. Some repairs require us to refresh Windows, replace the SSD, or reset the BIOS — any of which can wipe what's on the disk. We make a reasonable effort to preserve user data but cannot guarantee it survives every repair.
