Core Ultra Laptops

Intel Core Ultra Laptops in Pakistan

Intel Core Ultra is Intel's current laptop platform. It uses a hybrid-core architecture with performance cores, efficiency cores, and a dedicated NPU for AI workloads. Compared to older Core i5 and i7 generations, Core Ultra runs cooler and lasts longer on battery. It also accelerates on-device AI features. At Intag, the Core Ultra range covers entry business laptops, mid-range EliteBook and ProBook models, and the workstation tier.

What makes Core Ultra different from Core i5 / i7

Core Ultra is not just a renaming of Core i7 / i9. The architecture is genuinely new. Three differences matter to a buyer in 2026.

Hybrid cores. Ultra chips combine P-cores (performance) and E-cores (efficiency), and they shuttle work between them automatically. Light tasks run on the E-cores and barely touch the battery. Heavy tasks fire up the P-cores. The practical effect: an Ultra laptop on the same physical battery lasts longer in real-world use than a comparable Core i7 11th gen.

NPU for on-device AI. Ultra chips include a Neural Processing Unit. Copilot, Microsoft Studio Effects, Teams background blur, on-device transcription — all are accelerated by the NPU. The CPU and GPU stay free for your other work. If you use AI tools daily, Ultra is the right tier.

Integrated Arc graphics. Ultra ships with Intel's newer Arc-class integrated GPU, not the older UHD or Iris Xe. Better for light gaming, faster Photoshop and Premiere previews, and certified for ISV workstation use on the higher tiers.

Who Core Ultra suits

• Buyers who want the longest useful life. Core Ultra is the current generation. A unit bought in 2026 will still feel current in 2029. Older 8th-11th gen Core i5 / i7 laptops are great value today but the gap to the current platform widens every year.
• Daily AI users. If Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Generative AI, or real-time meeting transcription is part of your workflow, the NPU pays for itself in battery life and responsiveness.
• Engineering and design professionals. The Ultra workstation tier (Dell Precision 5690) gives you Arc graphics, fast DDR5 memory, and certified drivers for CAD and content creation.
• Travel-heavy professionals. Better battery life on Ultra means a real difference on flights, in client offices, and on long workdays.

FAQ — Core Ultra laptops in Pakistan

Is Core Ultra worth the extra cost over Core i7 13th gen? Yes if you intend to keep the laptop 3+ years, use AI tools daily, or travel often. The NPU and battery-life gain are real. For a 1-2 year horizon with no AI workload, an 11th-13th gen i7 at PKR 100k is the better value.

Does Core Ultra need Windows 11? Yes — Copilot+ and NPU acceleration require Windows 11. All our Ultra units ship with Windows 11 Pro licensed.

How does Core Ultra battery life compare? Real-world testing on the 840 G11 gives 9-11 hours of mixed productivity use on a charge. The 11th-12th gen 840 equivalents are 6-8 hours.

Can Core Ultra play games? The integrated Arc graphics handle modern esports titles (CS2, Valorant, Dota 2) at 1080p medium. For AAA gaming, you need a discrete GPU — see the gaming laptops range.

Is Ultra 5 enough or do I need Ultra 7? Ultra 5 is genuinely enough for most office and creative work. Ultra 7 helps when you regularly run heavy spreadsheets, multiple VMs, or video calls with screen-share. Save the difference if you're not in those workloads.
