How condition grading works

Used laptops are not all the same. Two units of the same model can be priced very differently because of condition. Here is how we describe what you are buying:

• A-grade / like-new: minimal visible wear, full functionality, all keys and ports working, healthy battery. Indistinguishable from new to most users.
• B-grade / good: light cosmetic marks (small scuffs, faint keyboard shine), full functionality, battery within normal range. The most common grade and the best value-for-money tier.
• C-grade / fair: visible cosmetic wear, full functionality, battery may be aged but holds charge. Lowest price tier for buyers who care about performance over looks.
• Lab-serviced: on top of its cosmetic grade, the unit has been opened and serviced by our in-house lab — thermal paste renewed, fan cleaned, screen and keyboard checked, then reassembled. This adds reliability and longer life. The cosmetic grade (A/B/C) is stated separately.

What "used" really means at Intag

The Pakistani market for imported business laptops has two ends. At one end, grey-market sellers buy bulk lots, list them online, and ship without inspection — you find out about the broken keyboard after delivery. At the other end, brand-new retail prices are 2-3× what the equivalent specification costs as a used corporate-return unit. Intag operates in the middle: corporate-return stock that has been inspected, graded, serviced where needed, and priced honestly.

Are used laptops worth buying in Pakistan?
For most buyers, yes — provided you buy from a seller who inspects, grades and warranties the unit. A B-grade corporate-return HP EliteBook with a Core i5 and 8 GB RAM will outlast a brand-new low-end consumer laptop at the same price, because business hardware is engineered for daily use over multiple years.

What does "lab-serviced" mean?
Every used laptop we sell is tested for full functionality. A lab-serviced unit goes one step further — our in-house lab opens it, renews the thermal paste, cleans the fan, checks the screen and keyboard, then reassembles it. This adds reliability and longer life for a small premium over the same-grade unit. The cosmetic grade is stated separately either way.

Is there a warranty on used laptops?
Yes. Every unit carries an international warranty (the residual factory warranty from the country of import) ranging from two months to one year. Warranty service is handled at our in-house lab in Saddar, Rawalpindi.

Can I see the laptop before I buy?
Yes — two ways. Visit either storefront (Saddar Rawalpindi or Wah Cantt) and sit with the laptop, or request a WhatsApp video-call demo and we will walk you through the unit on camera.

How long does delivery take?
Same-day or next-day dispatch from Rawalpindi for most of Pakistan. Tracked, with the pre-dispatch video in your WhatsApp before the box leaves the shop.
